York Interfaith & Social Inclusion Working Group Questionnaire

In terms of Ethnic population growth, York has the second fastest growing ethnic population of the cities in the UK over the past five years.Partly that's because we started from a very low base.However, the diversity of races and faiths in the city has widened significantly over recent years.

The City of York Council, seeking to get some immediate picture of the situation, in addition to figures which they collect from the school population and other  sources, have asked Churches Together in York and the York Interfaith Group to work as partners in creating a survey of the Faith communities in the city.

The questionnaire will provide new information to CTY and York Interfaith, as well as being shared with the City of York Council. A short report will be written when the results have been collected together. The report will be published on this website.
